Healthy Futures incentive program is discontinued
OEBB’s “Healthy Futures” incentive program has been discontinued effective October 1, 2018. Members participating for the 2017-18 plan year will not need to report their Healthy Actions during Open Enrollment.
The carriers’ online Health Assessments are still available year-round for members who wish to learn more about their personal health status.

The Total Health Assessment is a confidential questionnaire that helps you look at your overall health and lifestyle — from exercise and eating habits to sleep quality and stress. Once you finish, you’ll get a customized plan for a healthier, happier you.
Balance helps you get motivated, gain confidence, and overcome the challenges of losing weight. It offers resources such as exercise videos (which you can play on your computer or personal digital player, such as an iPod®†), goal-tracking tools, recipes, and more.
Online coaching: Enroll in a web-based behavioral coaching intervention that can be accessed online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Breathe supports you as you explore why it’s hard to quit smoking, and offers tips and advice to help you give up the habit.
Wellness coaching by phone: Talk with a coach about your health goals, learn about the process of change, create a customized plan to outline small steps you can take to reach your long-term goals. Weight Watchers incorporates healthful eating, physical activity, behavior modification, and for those who attend Weight Watchers meetings, a supportive atmosphere, and is based on the philosophy that successful weight loss is achieved through the attainment of a series of realistic goals.

Weight Watchers will bill Kaiser Permanente directly as long as you notify them you are an OEBB member at the time you enroll. NOTE: Kaiser Permanente will NOT reimburse members who pay Weight Watchers directly.
Virtual Lifestyle Management is a completely internet-based diabetes prevention program designed by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh to help you make small changes to your lifestyle to improve your health and lower your risk of developing diabetes.VLM is currently available to OEBB members at no cost who are enrolled in a Kaiser medical plan, are at least 18 years of age and meet certain health criteria.
Better Choices, Better Health is an online self management course developed by Stanford University to assist people in dealing with problems associated with chronic medical conditions. Workshops are led by trained facilitators and include approximately 25 participants. You can participate in the six-week interactive workshop at your own pace from any computer. OEBB members and dependents age 18 or older enrolled in an OEBB medical plan can participate at no cost.
