Calm is an app for daily use that uses meditation and mindfulness to help lower stress, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep quality. With guided mediations, programs taught by world-renowned experts, sleep stories narrated by celebrities, and more, Calm offers something for everyone.
myStrength offers personalized programs with interactive activities, daily health trackers to monitor and maintain your progress, in-the-moment coping tools, and more. It’s designed to help you set goals and work toward them in ways that work for you.
Omada® is a breakthrough online program that inspires healthy habits you can live with long-term. Omada® combines the science of behavior change with unwavering personal support, so you can make changes that actually stick. It’s an approach shown to reduce risk factors for type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Omada® is currently available to PEBB members at no cost who are enrolled in a Kaiser medical plan, are at least 18 years of age and meet certain health criteria.
Wellness coaching by phone: Talk with a coach about your health goals, learn about the process of change, create a customized plan to outline small steps you can take to reach your long-term goals. Schedule convenient phone sessions at times that work for you. Visit www.kp.org/healthengagement or call 1-866-301-3866 and select option 2.
For members who use tobacco: Participate in a tobacco cessation program or work with your physician on an individual plan.
For members whose health assessment indicates they are overweight (a BMI that exceeds 27, or waist circumference that exceeds 35 inches for a woman and 40 inches for a man): Participate in a weight management program or work with your physician on an individual plan.
Be screened in accordance with recommended U.S. Preventive Services Task Force guidelines (glucose screening, dental cleaning, mammogram, colonoscopy, etc.)
Participate in a physical activity challenge or monitoring program
Participate in a community-based health improvement program
Complete an online health education class
Participate in an activity to manage your chronic condition
