Kaiser Permanente is proud to support the PEBB SmartHealth Wellness Program.

This program gives you the information and the tools you need to take charge of your well-being. SmartHealth is Washington state’s voluntary wellness program for eligible members of the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) Program.

Renew, restart, and refresh with SmartHealth

Whether you’re new to SmartHealth this year, or you participated last year, the SmartHealth website makes healthy lifestyle activities fun, challenging, and social.

Eligible subscribers and their spouses or registered domestic partners enrolled in a PEBB medical plan can participate and earn points on the SmartHealth website; however, only eligible subscribers can qualify for a $125 wellness incentive. Ready to Earn More SmartHealth Points?

Kaiser Permanente offers several wellness activities that can help you earn SmartHealth points. These activities can help you lose weight, get fit, eat healthier, quit smoking, manage stress, and more. They are available to you at no cost.

Get started earning SmartHealth points by participating in the following, through Kaiser Permanente:

  1. 100 points: to Get Started. Go to our Kaiser Permanente wellness program agreement kp.org/engage 

    a. Sign on with your kp.org user ID & password
    b. Agree. Check “yes” to accept the Wellness Program Agreement (this is an annual HIPAA authorization, that gives Kaiser Permanente permission to report you completed one of the eligible activities to earn SmartHealth points).
    c. Participants must have an online kp.org account to be eligible. If the individual doesn’t have a kp.org account they can sign up for one using the same link, and then check “yes” to sign our Wellness Program Agreement.

  2. 500 points: Wellness Coaching by Phone. Like your own personal GPS, call a health coach today to help you navigate to a healthier lifestyle!

    a. Call 1-866-301-3866, option 2 (Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm)
    b. Call your coach to discuss your health and wellness goals, the process for change, and support to make healthy changes.
    c. Complete two coaching sessions to receive your points. (You can preschedule sessions with the same health coach, no referral is needed.)

  3. 500 points: Online Quit Tobacco Coaching.

    a. Go to kp.org/healthylifestyles
    b. Log in using your kp.org login credentials
    c. Complete the coaching program and pick a quit date to start your journey to being tobacco free!
    d. Click “submit” to receive your personalized action plan.

  4. 200 points: Register for kp.org

    a. Go to kp.org/register
    b. Select Register, than select create my account
    c. Complete the promoted questions
    d. Once complete you will have access to kp.org

  5. 200 points: Complete the Total Health Assessment. Only the SmartHealth Well-being Assessment earns points towards the $125 wellness incentive.

    a. Go to kp.org/tha
    b. Log in using your kp.org credentials
    c. Complete the online health assessment

To receive SmartHealth points for your activities, be sure to check “Yes” on our www.kp.org/engage. Even if you’ve already completed an activity, you’ll need to say “Yes” for it to count toward your SmartHealth incentive. And don’t forget–you’ll earn 100 points just for agreeing to get started.
